This work is about the sheer power of nature. When conditions are right, life springs up with amazing strength in amazing places. The circular form of this piece illustrates how adaptable life forms can be to new conditions and to changing direction. Quite often this is accomplished with grace and beauty. I was seeking to convey this type of inner strength.
